02 Flood Resilience as a Service

This case study explores the evidence required to support a Flood Resilience Service. It takes it from developing the terrain intelligence & hydrological model through to producing the financial case to support an ecosystem service. Payment for flood protection is a helpful extra protection layer for critical assets for rail, road and transport networks, power and water utilities companies, warehouse and logistics and data centres using natural flood management interventions to protect assets that do not currently sit behind existing conventional defences.
