05 River Catchment Level Investment Portfolio

£0.00Price

Often it is difficult to get institutional investors interested to fund one-off projects. In this case study we look at a 400,000 ha catchment and identify the potential for natural flood management, combined with water quality improvements, bidiversity net gain and carbon. Such an approach requires compliance with clear stacking rules of what can be combined and how funds are to be used. However, this approach when successfully and fully evidenced can be the basis of a large investment portfolio which can then attract institutional capital and blended finance. This will be of interest to farming and landowner consortia who want to understand the potential of and the evidence required for the investment.
